Tolka ("we," "our," or "us") provides an AI-powered translation application. Your privacy is a priority, and we have designed our application to collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our service.
1.Data We Collect
- Account identifiers: We link your account and usage balance to a unique account identifier within our system.
- Audio data: When you use the voice translation feature, we capture audio from your device's microphone. This audio is transmitted to the Google Gemini API for real-time processing and translation. We do not record or store your audio data on our servers.
- Camera data: When you use camera translation, images are processed in real time and not retained.
- Usage logs: We record the timing of your sessions and payment references to manage your account balance and prevent service abuse.
2.How We Use Your Data

- Preventing abuse and ensuring fair use
- Improving the technical stability of our application

4.Data Retention
We retain your account identifier and session counts as long as necessary to provide the service. Because we do not store audio recordings, there is no retention policy for voice data.

We implement technical and organizational measures, such as Row Level Security (RLS) and encryption in transit.
6.Your Rights
Depending on jurisdiction, users may request access to or deletion of their account data.

Updates will be posted inside the Tolka app.
